Sidney Dekker

Griffith University

As the visionary originator of Safety Differently and Restorative Just Culture concepts, he is leading a movement to replace rigid bureaucracy with genuine resilience and compassion. His groundbreaking research is uniquely informed by his experience as an aircraft pilot, bringing operational insights to the aviation industry's most complex systems.

Roxani Athousaki

Coventry University Wrocław

Dr Roxani Athousaki is a leading authority on Airline Sustainability and business development. With a PhD from Coventry University and a rare multidisciplinary background spanning engineering, international business and marketing, she offers a holistic perspective on the modern aviation landscape. Her extensive career is built on a foundation of operational excellence, having shaped the industry through high-level roles in Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Crisis Management for the airline and travel and tourism industry, further enriched by her position as a Course Director of the Aviation Management programme at Coventry University Wrocław.

Michał Skakuj

Ekoaviation

Dr Michał Skakuj is a distinguished ornithologist and a leading authority on Wildlife Hazard Management (WHM) in aviation. With an extensive portfolio exceeding one hundred publications, including the foundational Polish CAA WHM handbook, his expertise bridges the gap between biological research and operational safety. From his strategic role as the Supervisor of the WHM Program for the Polish Air Force to his contributions as a NATO WHM Sub-Panel expert, Dr Skakuj provides an unmatched perspective on mitigating wildlife risks to ensure the security of both national and international airspace. His commitment to global aviation safety is further reflected in his leadership roles, serving as a Board Member of the World Birdstrike Association and formerly as the Vice-Chairman of the Polish Wildlife Strike Committee.

Maciej Danielkiewicz

Port Polska

Maciej Danielkiewicz is a Safety Management Systems (SMS) expert in the project of Port Polska with over 20 years of professional experience in the aviation industry. His background is diverse, covering roles such as a PPL(A) pilot, airline employee, an Airport Duty Officer, and a Safety Manager at Polish airports. A graduate in Economics from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, he completed further studies at Warsaw University of Technology and Lazarski University. Mr. Danielkiewicz is a strong advocate for Just Culture and believes that the best way to improve safety is through the open sharing of information about risks and hazards among all aviation partners.

Joanna Kubicka

Coventry University Wrocław

Dr Kubicka is a leading expert in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). She specializes in translating complex ethical and ecological goals into actionable organizational strategies. With deep expertise in the Circular Economy and Zero Waste principles, Dr Kubicka is at the forefront of helping enterprises minimize their environmental footprint. Beyond strategy, she is a master of the regulatory landscape, guiding organizations through the complexities of the EU Taxonomy, CSRD Directive, and EcoVadis standards to build brands that are as transparent as they are impactful.

Dr Jan Malawko

University of Warsaw - Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling

Dr Jan Malawko is a distinguished aviation authority with a career spanning aircraft manufacturing, airline operations, and regulatory oversight. A graduate of the Faculty of Aeronautics, he has held pivotal leadership roles, including Director of Network Planning at LOT Polish Airlines, where he implemented the Warsaw Hub concept, and Director of Airport Department at the Polish Civil Aviation Authority, where he pioneered ICAO certification processes.
Additionally, Dr Malawko was leading the safety supervision during Warsaw Airport major expansion construction works and chaired Airport Runway Safety Team. Having represented the industry within Eurocontrol's Performance Review Commission and the European Commission’s Performance Review Body, he combines deep operational expertise with strategic governance. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Warsaw (ICM), bridging the gap between industry practice and advanced mathematical modeling.

Miron Jóźwik

WAMS

Mr Miron Jóźwik is a specialist in aerospace logistics and supply chain resilience, currently working as the Heavy Maintenance Materials and Customs Supervisor at Wrocław Aicraft Maintenance Services. He oversees the strategic procurement of aircraft parts and the complex coordination of material flows, ensuring total component availability for aircraft maintenance .
By streamlining customs processes and optimizing inventory cycles, Mr Jóźwik provides seamless, interruption free support for large-scale maintenance processes of Ryanair fleet. His expertise ensures that heavy maintenance programs maintain maximum uptime through rigorous material planning and operational excellence.

Marcin Ambroziak

FTD.Aero

Marcin Ambroziak is the Development Director at FTD.aero, a company at the forefront of aviation technology, specialising in the design and manufacturing of advanced flight simulators for airline pilots. A seasoned captain and Boeing 737 instructor (most recently with Ryanair), Mr Ambroziak brings a rare perspective that combines thousands of hours of operational flight experience with a sharp, analytical approach to business development. A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology Business School, he focuses on building scalable solutions and fostering the long-term partnerships that are currently shaping the future of pilot training.

Mikołaj Wlekliński

SprintAir

Mikołaj Wlekliński, Eng., is the Security Manager at SprintAir and a Specialist for the State Commission on Aircraft Accidents Investigation (PKBWL). He blends operational leadership with investigative precision to ensure safety remains the core priority of flight operations. His extensive background includes roles as an Aircraft Mechanic and Safety/Quality Control Specialist at AIR WALSER and LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services, as well as a Communication and Marketing Specialist at LS Airport Services. His diverse expertise allows him to integrate technical rigor with a holistic safety culture, keeping Polish air operations secure and dependable.

Marcin Osowski

ASE Baltic (ASE Group)

Marcin Osowski is a senior executive and strategic advisor with many years of experience in the aviation and maritime sectors. His professional background includes leadership roles in airport services, air transport-related operations, and port management, including positions on the management boards of the Port of Gdańsk and Welcome Airport Services. Currently, he serves as President of the Management Board of ASE Baltic, the Lithuanian subsidiary of ASE Group, the largest Polish engineering consultancy firm. Mr Osowski's expertise lies at the intersection of aviation, infrastructure, logistics, and international business development.

Patryk Segda

XEOS

Patryk Segda is a Flight Deck Operating System Specialist at XEOS, specializing in the GE Aerospace Lean System. A transition expert, he successfully designed the layout and established a PART 145-compliant engine service facility for LEAP engines. Known for his peerless ability to build consensus, he also manages a locksmith workshop producing critical support structures for engine maintenance. His expertise has bolstered international operations across Hungary and the U.S. (Indiana, Kansas). Outside of aviation, he is a mountain enthusiast and geography buff who can identify every world flag.

Tatsiana Andrushka

Wrocław Airport

Tatsiana Andrushka is a dedicated project manager with extensive experience in starting and leading international projects within multinational teams. For the past three years, she has been working at Wrocław Airport, where she manages a broad range of responsibilities, including business and tourist networking, charter flight coordination, marketing, and PR. Mrs Andrushka also oversees the airport’s ESG and CSR initiatives, such as educational programs, noise management, and the airport apiary. With a strong focus on improving the passenger experience and overall usability, she is currently developing a new strategic plan to guide the airport’s operations during its ongoing expansion and development.

Karol Przywara

Wrocław Airport

Mr Karol Przywara serves as Wrocław Airport President of the Board since 2024. He is currently managing the airport's largest investment project to date, which is supported by EU funding. This extensive development includes upgrading airside and landside infrastructure, as well as planning the expansion of the terminal to double its capacity. In addition to his role at the airport, Mr Przywara is the Plenipotentiary to the Mayor of Wroclaw for International Cooperation. He previously gained significant experience in regional development as an advisor for the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency and as the Director of Foreign Relations for the Marshall Office of Lower Silesia from 2015 to 2020. Mr Przywara is also the Chairman of the Caucasian Foundation, where he works to strengthen partnerships with countries in the South Caucasus. In recognition of his work in international relations, he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the City of Batumi in 2018.

Karolina Pokorska

LS Airport Services

Paulina Pokorska is a Quality, Safety and Training Coordination Manager at LS Airport Services, bringing over a decade of expertise to Poland’s largest ground handling agent. Combining a Master’s degree in Aviation with a professional background rooted in administration and senior leadership support, she possesses a deep understanding of the collaborative dynamics within the Polish aviation market. Today, Mrs Pokorska excels at navigating complex regulatory landscapes to ensure ground operations remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with the highest industry standards for safety.
