Dr. Bartłomiej Czerkowski represents Coventry University Wrocław at V4+ Airports Conference 2025. On 12th and 13th June, Prague became a hub of aviation innovation as leading industry experts from across Europe gathered for the Airport Innovation Roundtable 2025 Conference a dynamic two-day event focused on the future of airport management, innovation, and tourism trends.
Among the speakers was Dr. Bartłomiej Czerkowski, a lecturer in Aviation Management course at Coventry University Wrocław, who delivered a presentation at the technical, operations and safety session. His presentation, titled “Aerodrome Safety Challenges: Insights from Occurrence Trends in Poland,” showcased the university’s expertise in aviation safety research.

- The prevalence of Foreign Object Debris (FOS) incidents,
- Runway and taxi incursions,
- Equipment failures,
- Wildlife hazards,
- And Communication Issues.
The presentation emphasized why commercial air travel remains the safest mode of transportation, citing categorization of safety occurrences.
