WRO4digITal is a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) based in Wrocław, supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lower Silesia. The project helps businesses leverage advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and cybersecurity to enhance their market competitiveness.

CURIE’s role in the project
Coventry University Research Institute Europe (CURIE) focuses on cybersecurity educational services in the WRO4digITal project. CURIE conducts specialized training for organizations aimed at increasing awareness and maturity in information security management.
CURIE’s activities include:
- Cyber threat awareness training, supporting organizations in developing cybersecurity educational programs.
- Training on Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) compliant with ISO 27001 standards.
- Data protection training against cyber threats, helping organizations secure data according to current standards.
Project Outcomes
WRO4digITal supports the development of a regional innovation ecosystem, connecting companies with technologies, business partners, and funding sources. With the involvement of institutions like CURIE, SMEs in Lower Silesia can effectively grow their businesses in the digital age, increasing security and competitiveness in the market.

The project ‘WRO4digITal European Digital Innovation Hub Wrocław – Ecosystem for suistainable digital growth of Lower Silesia’ is co-financed from the Digital Europe Programme (DEP – Digital Europe Programme) on the basis of Grant Agreement no. 101083533 concluded between the European Commission and the Project Partners and from the funds of the European Funds for Modern Economy Programme 2021-2027 on the basis of Grant Agreement no.
